  • "Four-force Benchmark of the Year" from Tencent Smart Retail "Full-domain Digital Operation List"

    Tencent Smart Retail released its "Full-domain Digital Operation List" in April, and ALDI's WeChat Mini Program won the "Four-force Benchmark of the Year" in recognition of its four forces of product and data, operation, organization and commodities.

  • "2022 Best Urban Breakthrough Retailer" and "2022 Best Partner"

    On June 20, ALDI won the "2022 Best Urban Breakthrough Retailer" and "2022 Best Partner" awards at Ele.me's first merchant retail conference. As the only "2022 Best Urban Breakthrough Retailer" in China, ALDI is proud to be recognized for its continuous innovation in the retail field, creating a one-stop shopping experience for users with the aim of providing high-quality products and meeting user needs.

  • The Influential Community Supermarket of the Year

    In November 2023, ALDI won the Influential Community Supermarket of the Year award at the GOGO 2024 Annual Lifestyle Awards ceremony hosted by GOGO Shanghai.

  • 7th PLF Gold Star Award- " Best Private Brand Products"

    In December 2023, six ALDI products won the "Best Private Brand Products" award at the 7th PLF Gold Star Award during the Global Private Label Fair Asia. The winning products include:

    At the 8th Annual Best BANG Awards Ceremony held by Shanghai BANG in November 2022, ALDI once again won the title of " Best Popular Community Supermarket" for the high quality of its products and services.

  • GOGO 2023 Annual Lifestyle Awards “Quality Community Supermarket of the Year”

    GOGO Shanghai offers a fashion-forward perspective that is geared towards the younger generation who have a keen sense of fashion and an innovative mind-set. In November 2022, ALDI was honoured with the "Quality Community Supermarket of the Year" award, in recognition of its international quality and everyday value by consumers.

  • "2022 Creative Supermarket of the Year" awarded by Shanghai Chaoshenghuo Matrix

    In December 2022, ALDI won "Creative Supermarket of the Year" from the Chaoshenghuo matrix for continuously updating its SKUs with rich and interesting marketing activities. The Chaoshenghuo matrix which consists of Shanghai Chaoshenghuo, Modumishiji, Modu SOLO and LIFE Shanghai.

    In April 2021, ALDI CHINA’s corporate responsibility efforts were recognized the GOGREEN Sustainable Development and was awarded the "GOGREEN Sustainable Lifestyle Brand" award at the GOGREEN Green Future Ceremony.

  • Jury Selection Award from German Chamber of Commerce in China

    In September, THE MORE THAN A MARKET AWARD GALA 2021 hosted by German Chamber of Commerce was held in Shanghai. In this year’s winner in the Special Category ‘Jury Selection’ ALDI CHINA has been selected for its ‘Cooperation with Food Bank to Avoid Food Waste’.

  • The Best Popular Community Supermarket Award from Shanghai BANG

    In November 2021, ALDI CHINA was presented with the Best Popular Community Supermarket Award by The 7th Best BANG Awards from Shanghai BANG.

  • The Influential Community Supermarket Award of the Year from GOGO Shanghai

    In December 2021, GOGO Shanghai held the 2022 Annual Lifestyle Awards, which presented the Influential Community Supermarket Award of the Year for ALDI’s outstanding performance.

  • Effie Performance Marketing Awards - Silver Award for Private Traffic Growth

    At the 2021 Effie Greater China Gala, ALDI was honoured with the Silver Award in the Performance Marketing Category – Private Traffic Growth.
    The Effie Award is a globally recognised award in the marketing industry, and this recognition is a testament of ALDI CHINA’s growth and achievements in meaningful community marketing.   • Supermarket of the Year Prize from GOGO Shanghai

    We were awarded by GOGO Shanghai, which presented the Popular Supermarket of the Year prize to us in January 2020. GOGO Shanghai is a popular and influential local media group with several new media channels, and we are thrilled by this recognition.

  • Top Growth Performance Award from Ele.me

    We received accolade from our partner Ele.me, one of the most popular online food delivery platforms in China. We were given the Top Growth Performance Award for our success as a new retail business merchant on the app.

  • Recognition by the Shanghai Xuhui District People’s Government

    In January 2020, we were awarded by the Shanghai Xuhui District People’s Government. Since we debuted in China, we have been receiving a tremendous amount of support from them on matters from permit applications to business operations issues, and we will continue working with Xuhui to offer local consumers a great shopping experience.

  • Gold Awards at the 2019 Shanghai Design Awards

    In November 2019, ALDI CHINA took two Gold Awards at the 2019 Shanghai Design Awards in the categories of Interior Design – Retail and Graphic Design – Environmental. Both awards were given to ALDI CHINA and its design partner Landini Associates for the creativity and innovation in the design and layout of ALDI CHINA’s pilot stores.

  • Shop of the Year at the 2019 TimeOut Love Shanghai Awards

    ALDI CHINA won Shop of the Year at the 2019 TimeOut Love Shanghai Awards in December. The awards, which celebrate the city's favourite restaurants, stores and brands, are decided by consumers through a public voting process.

  • Partnership Contribution Award in Yicai The Corporate Social Responsibility Ranking in China

    ALDI CHINA was presented the Partnership Contribution Award in The Corporate Social Responsibility Ranking in China 2019 by Yicai. This award recognised ALDI CHINA’s solution in tackling food waste while protecting the environment.

    In February 2018, ALDI CHINA was rated as the “Most Favourite Brand for Young Generation in 2017”, and granted the “Tmall Youth Award” , a prestigious award to recognise the extraordinary performance of cross-border e-commerce merchants, for our exceptional achievement in marketing, product assortment, and enriching the lives of young Chinese consumers.

  • Super TG (Tmall Global) 1000 Rising Star Award

    In March 2018, ALDI CHINA was awarded the “Super TG1000 Rising Star Award of 2018” by Tmall. ALDI CHINA clinched the award due to our remarkable brand performance and awareness generation as well as innovative consumer engagement tactics within the Alibaba ecosystem.

  • Gold Award in the ‘Best Interactive Campaign’ category at the “STDecaux 2017 The Best of the Best Awards”

    ALDI CHINA was awarded the Gold Award in the ‘Best Interactive Campaign’ category at the “STDecaux 2017 The Best of the Best Awards”. The award recognised ALDI CHINA’s efforts in developing an engaging media portfolio of a metro light box and digital vending machine. In particular, ALDI CHINA created a fun and interesting interactive game focusing on almonds at the Xujiahui Metro Station. The game not only raised awareness for both the ALDI brand and product, it also engaged consumers through giving them a chance to win E-coupons on Tmall.

  • Most Dynamic Social Strategy Award

    In April 2018, for its outstanding performance in social media, ALDI CHINA was given the Most Dynamic Social Strategy Award by the 2018 TOPKLOUT Awards.
