ALDI Third-Party Platform Store Member Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies solely to the products and/or
services provided by ALDI (China) Investment Co., Ltd. or its
affiliated companies (“ALDI,” “ALDI China,” or “we”) through ALDI’s online stores operated on third-party
instant retail e-commerce platforms (“third-party platforms” or “platforms”). It does not apply to products or services we provide
through any other platforms or channels, nor to services
provided to you by third parties, which are governed by
their respective privacy policies.
The personal information processor under this Privacy
Policy is ALDI (China) Investment Co., Ltd., with its
registered address at Room 303-304, Building 9, No. 1045
Middle Huaihai Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai.
Before using the aforementioned products and/or services,
please carefully read and fully understand this policy,
especially the provisions highlighted in bold. You should pay particular attention to these provisions and
ensure you fully understand and agree to them before using our
services. Through this Privacy Policy, we aim to explain how
we collect, use, store, share, and disclose your personal
information when you use our products and/or services. We also
explain how you can inquire about, modify, delete your
personal information, cancel your membership, withdraw your
consent, or change the scope of your consent.
Your agreement to this Privacy Policy indicates that you
understand the personal information necessary for us to
provide the products and/or services and agree to our
collection and use of your personal information through
third-party platforms as outlined in this policy. If separate
consent is required under this Privacy Policy, we will request
your explicit consent based on the specific circumstances of
your use.

consent, minimum necessary use, openness and transparency,
security assurance, and user participation. If we need to use

1. Collection and Use of Personal Information
To provide you with our products and/or services, we collect
and process necessary personal information via third-party
platforms. Please refer to Appendix 2, Personal Information Processing Table in this Privacy
Policy, for details about the third-party platforms ALDI
collaborates with and the specifics of how your personal
information is collected and used on different platforms. If
you refuse to provide the required personal information, you
may not be able to use the relevant products and/or
services.
1.1 Helping You Become a Member
To help you register or link your ALDI membership on a
third-party platform, we collect your mobile phone number via the platform. If you do not provide this
information, you will not be able to use our membership
services, though you can still browse and search for products
and/or services in the ALDI store on the platform
To enhance your user experience, we may also collect your
date of birth and gender through the platform to improve
membership services. Providing this information is optional
and will not affect your basic membership rights.
Once you successfully register for ALDI store membership on a
third-party platform, you can view your membership details
(such as membership code, points, coupons, validity periods,
etc.; the specific details may vary depending on the platform)
through your platform account. You acknowledge and confirm that the ALDI online store
membership belongs to the platform. The ALDI store
membership you hold on a third-party platform can only be
used in the ALDI online store on that platform and cannot be
transferred to other accounts or used in other online or
offline stores operated by us. Upon activating or linking your ALDI store membership,
you may enjoy exclusive membership benefits when shopping at
the ALDI store, including member prices on designated
products, member coupons, member points, and other membership
privileges. The applicable stores on the platform and specific
membership benefits may be subject to certain adjustments due
to seasonal or operational factors of the stores. The specific
details shall be based on the content displayed on the ALDI
store page.
1.2 Personalized Recommendations and Commercial
Advertisements
To provide you with more convenient and personalized products
or services and to improve your shopping experience, we may
collect your name, gender, mobile phone number, order details, address,
and date of birth via third-party platforms. We may process and analyze
this information to recommend products, promotions, or event
notifications tailored to your preferences, display
personalized advertisements, or conduct telephone marketing.
For marketing messages sent via third-party platforms, we will
label them with the platform’s name. If you wish to disable personalized recommendations or
marketing notifications, you can contact ALDI Customer
Service at 400-820-1973 to turn them off. To unsubscribe
from marketing messages sent directly by ALDI, follow the
instructions in the message. For marketing messages sent
through third-party platforms, follow the respective
instructions in those messages to unsubscribe.
1.3 Order Placement and Management
To process your orders and provide better after-sales
service, we collect the following personal information via
third-party platforms: name, mobile phone number, recipient’s name, delivery
address, recipient’s contact number, delivery time, purchased
product or service information, order number, order creation
time, order amount, order placement time, payment time,
shipping time, shipping status, and any additional order notes you provide. If you are ordering products or services for someone else,
please ensure you have obtained their authorization before
providing their information. For orders involving children,
you must secure consent from their guardians beforehand.
1.4 Invoice Issuance
If you request an invoice, you must provide necessary invoice details (e.g., invoice title, taxpayer
identification number, bank information, address, phone
number, order details, and amounts) and invoice receipt
information (e.g., recipient name, contact number, and email
address).
1.5 Customer Service and Dispute Resolution
You may contact ALDI Customer Service via the platform’s
store contact information for pre-sales, in-sales, or
after-sales inquiries, or to request dispute resolution. To
ensure account and system security, we may verify your
membership identity and transaction or order information using
the mobile phone number you provide.
To facilitate communication with you and to help resolve
order inquiries, complaints, or suggestions as quickly as
possible, or to document the handling process and outcomes of
related issues, we may collect, use, and store your communication records and related content through third-party platforms. This includes membership account information, transaction or order details, and any additional information you provide to substantiate
relevant facts.
1.6 Other
If the information you provide includes personal information
of other individuals, you must ensure that you have obtained
their lawful authorization before providing it.
1.7 Sensitive Personal Information
Sensitive personal information refers to data that, if
leaked, illegally provided, or misused, could harm personal
or property safety, significantly impact personal reputation
or mental/physical health, or result in discriminatory
treatment. It also includes information about children under
the age of 14.
When you use our products and/or services, we may collect
and process sensitive personal information as required by
law or business needs, in accordance with this Privacy
Policy. Such sensitive information, its purpose, and methods
of collection will be explicitly stated and highlighted in
bold in this Privacy Policy. By agreeing to this Privacy
Policy, you consent to our processing of your sensitive
personal information. If you disagree or wish to withdraw
your consent, you can follow the instructions in this
Privacy Policy to do so. Once consent is withdrawn, we will
no longer process the corresponding personal information and
may be unable to provide the associated products or
services.
2. Delegated Processing
Scenarios where we delegate to third parties: Certain specific functions of our products and/or services
are provided by external vendors. As part of our business
operations, we may delegate capable partners to process your
personal information. We will only delegate the processing of
your personal information for the purposes explicitly stated
in this Privacy Policy, and partners will only access the
personal information necessary to fulfill their
responsibilities. We will sign strict confidentiality agreements with these
partners, requiring them to process personal information in
accordance with our instructions, this Privacy Policy, and
other relevant confidentiality and security measures. If a
partner processes your personal information beyond the scope
of delegation, they must obtain your separate consent. Upon termination or conclusion of our partnership, we will
require the partner to return or delete the personal
information, and they must not retain or use it.
Currently, we may delegate the processing of your personal information to suppliers, service providers, and other partners. These partners include vendors supplying goods, providing
technical services, advertising services, data processing, and
other products and/or services. Your personal information will
only be provided within the necessary and reasonable
scope.

Sharing of Personal Information
We will not share your personal information with companies,
organizations, or individuals outside ALDI China except under
the following circumstances:
· We will share your personal information with other parties
after obtaining your explicit consent or authorization.
· We may share your personal information as required by
applicable laws, regulations, or mandatory requests from
government authorities.
· Your personal information may be shared with ALDI Commerce
(Shanghai) Co., Ltd., ALDI South Group, and other affiliated
companies. We will only share your personal information within
the necessary and reasonable scope and for purposes consistent
with this Privacy Policy.
· When you register or link your ALDI membership on a
third-party platform, we may check your mobile phone number (provided by the platform) against our existing ALDI
official membership information to verify your membership
status. We will share the verification result with the third-party platform to associate your ALDI
membership with your platform account, enabling you to enjoy
additional benefits and services. Please refer to Appendix 3 for details on how we share personal information with
third parties.

Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
We will not disclose your personal information to any
third-party processor unless we have obtained your prior
explicit consent or are required to do so by applicable laws
and regulations

How We Protect and Store Your Personal Information
5.1 Information Protection
We place great importance on the security of your personal
information. To protect your data from misuse, unauthorized
access, disclosure, alteration, damage, loss, or leakage, we
employ security measures that comply with industry standards.
These measures include multi-layered technical safeguards,
organizational frameworks, and management systems.
5.2 Information Storage
Your personal information is stored within the People’s Republic of China. We will retain your information only for the duration
necessary to achieve the purposes outlined in this policy,
unless an extended retention period is required or permitted
by law. For example, the E-Commerce Law of the People’s
Republic of China mandates retaining goods and service
information and transaction records for three years from the
date of transaction completion, while the Cybersecurity Law of
the People’s Republic of China requires network logs to be
retained for at least six months. After the retention period expires, we will delete or
anonymize your personal information in accordance with legal
requirements.
6. Inquiry, Modification, Deletion, Membership
Cancellation, Withdrawal of Consent, or Change in Scope of
Consent
Since your personal information is collected indirectly via
third-party platforms, when we receive a platform-generated
request from you regarding querying, modifying, deleting,
canceling membership, withdrawing consent, or changing the
scope of consent, we may verify your identity and process your
request within a reasonable time frame. You can also contact ALDI’s official customer service at
4008201973 to exercise these rights. If you wish to unlink your ALDI membership on a third-party
platform, you can contact the platform directly through the
methods it provides.
For requests to delete your personal information, we may not
immediately remove the information from our backup systems,
but we will delete it during the next backup update. If we are
legally required to retain your personal information or if
deletion is technically infeasible, we will retain the
information solely for storage and necessary security
measures.
If you withdraw consent or change the scope of your consent,
please note that we will no longer be able to provide services
corresponding to the withdrawn consent. However, your decision
will not affect any personal information processing that
occurred prior to the withdrawal. Additionally, please note
that memberships registered through third-party platforms and
those registered directly with ALDI are independent. Unless
you request otherwise, withdrawing consent or canceling an
account on one platform does not impact memberships or consent
given on other platforms or directly with ALDI.
If you request to cancel your membership, please note that
after cancellation, we will no longer provide member-exclusive
offers and will delete or anonymize your personal information
unless otherwise required by law. In such cases, we will cease
processing your personal information for routine business
purposes.
7.
Protection of Children’s Personal Information
We place special emphasis on protecting the personal
information of minors. Children under the age of 14 should not
create membership accounts without the consent of their
guardians. For children’s personal information collected with
guardian consent, we will only use or disclose such
information as permitted by law or necessary for protecting
the child. If we discover that we have collected a child’s
personal information without prior guardian consent, we will
take steps to promptly delete the data. You may also request
corrections or deletions of such information through the
platform or directly with us as described in this Privacy
Policy.

Future Updates
As our business evolves, we will periodically review and
revise this Privacy Policy and reserve the right to make
changes. If there are changes to the purpose, method, or scope
of how we collect or use personal information, we will publish
the updated Privacy Policy on ALDI’s store page on the
third-party platform or on ALDI’s official website
(www.aldi.cn). We will notify you of these updates through the
platform or other feasible methods and prompt you to review
them. If you do not agree with the updated Privacy Policy, you may
withdraw your consent by contacting customer service at
4008201973 within one month of its publication.

online customer service. We will review and respond to all
inquiries and complaints in writing within 15 business
days.
Appendix 1: Definitions
Third-Party Platform: Instant retail delivery platforms
partnered with ALDI, on which ALDI operates online
stores.
ALDI Store: ALDI China’s online stores established on
third-party platforms.
ALDI Official Member: Members registered through ALDI’s
official channels, who enjoy exclusive member benefits on the
ALDI WeChat Mini Program and in offline stores.
Personal Information: Any information recorded electronically
or otherwise that can identify a specific natural person or
reflect the activities of a specific natural person, either
independently or in combination with other information.
Affiliated Companies: Companies that have direct or indirect
control or equity relationships with ALDI China, including but
not limited to ALDI Commerce (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and the ALDI
South Group.
Children: Individuals under the age of 14
